What Is Windshield PPF?

Windshield PPF is a transparent protection film professionally applied to the exterior surface of automotive windshields. The principle is similar to Paint Protection Film used on vehicle bodywork, but windshield film places significantly greater emphasis on optical clarity.

The film creates an additional physical layer in front of the original glass. Small stones, gravel, insects, road debris and other objects encountered while driving therefore contact the protective film before reaching the windshield surface.

PROTEKK Windshield PPF can be installed on flat and curved automotive glass and combines impact resistance with a self-healing, hydrophobic top coat. In the UK, this product category is also commonly described as windscreen protection film or windscreen PPF.
